My goal is to keep tab, first and foremost, my knitting habits, yarn stash, FOs, UFOs, etc. The rest of the goals are thoughts, feelings, psycho-analysis of life, family, friends, work and loads of other stuffs that I cannot think what they are at this point. My hope is not to be too negative and gloomy, but to impart some funny and happy blogging.
Now about myself: I’m a pig-headed, head-butting Aries who almost always puts foot in mouth. And that’s not even saying I’m opinionated. Very territorial, schizo (my husband’s description of me), bi-polar (my husband’s again). Now to the positive side: DANCING! I just love dancing. If I had to choose between knitting or dancing, DANCING tops it all. It’s more of an addiction. Knitting is to quiet my mind, a meditation. Dancing to is to let me know I’m alive, that I can still move. Heck, maybe I am bi-polar!
But what would top dancing? MY SON, MY PRECIOUS! MY LIFE! What can I say.
Next comes my husband. He is Mr. Wonderful! When he’s wonderful, I call him that. When he’s BAAAD, I call him that in a sarcastic tone. He’s relegated to 2nd place, but we have known each other for almost 28 years. More than half of our lives! (Hey, you probably would guess my age.)
My favorite animals are: SHEEP (cute and associated with yarn), RAM (remember I’m an Aries), PIGS (cute and intelligent), CATS (I have two: Jake Cyclone ~ docile and fat tabby, but very human-like; Tom Maroon~ a very adorable Manx and acts alpha male around here). I’m beginning to like dogs, but my hubby said we have way too many family members now. “If we add one more four-legged in the household,” he said, “Out goes anyone, be it four-legged or two-legged.” Hmmmmmm!

I read your reply to metroman which was great.
I just came home from a camping trip that was cut short by my husband complaining about it so much and I’m so disappointed. I also have an only child who’s 9 and we love both camping. We bought a tent trailer this summer; so, I thought everything would be great. The weather wasn’t (it rained alot, mainly at night) and the husband had a sore back. He’s says I might feel the same way he does in a few years (he’s 51). No! I don’t think so.
Sharon, thanks for visiting my blog.
This year, my son and I planned camping too late. He wanted to go; I wanted to go. Forgot about the hubby. We didn’t tell him at all. But then, right when we were planning the campout to our favorite campsite, our local newspaper featured the campsite as infested with black bears. Yup! Somehow, black bears were out and about in neighborhoods looking for food. But we are talking coastal towns.
So, we decided it’s not worth our peace and quiet and fun if there were going to be bears hanging out. I probably won’t be able to sleep at night in my tent knowing the bears will be around.
Next year, I’ll try to remember to start planning in and around March. It would probably a different campsite.
Good luck with next year’s camping! Leave the husband home.
Hello Mrs. Yarn Hungry! Thanks for dropping by Of Knitted Tales and Sunday Dinners. It’s always nice to meet someone new, especially a fellow Pinay and knitter too.
Hope you visit often! I’ll put you on my Google Reader so I can keep up with what’s going on with you! Take care and Salamat!
