Okay, here are the photos to the 150th Post Giveaway.
Remember, I’m only giving away things that were hand-crafted in Oregon. With this in mind, I made it a point to not just buy from these creative people but get to know them and their crafts as well. It’s really fun. Besides, it’s free advertisement for these people, which I really don’t mind at all.
This recycled cookie tin (sorry no cookies in it for sure) will contain all the giveaways.
Voila!
Individually, these items are:
Miss Purl’sstitch markers with their own little tin box. A little sheep cellphone charm. And an extra tin to put any little knickknacks you may have. (Note I just put my own stitch markers in it for show.) Danielle, who is the creative genius behind Miss Purl, is a young woman who enjoys making loads of other non-knitting things. And she’s super-friendly.
Kyla’s Creations necklace. I know Kyla personally as she works at the same place I do. Her mom works nights at a different department from me but we get to chitchat every now and then. Kyla and her husband own a boat, which they have restored to near-perfection at this point. They love to sail as you can see from her business card and logo.
Five hand-painted Alpaca Sport yarns from Pam Bell of Pacific Meadows Alpacas. (100% alpaca of course and soooo soft. 150 yards/33grams. In shaded Blue, dye lot #856.) I got these when I went to the Eugene Holiday Food & Gift Festival last weekend. Pam names all her pet alpacas. I don’t think they are pets, but I like that she has names for all of them. Pacific Meadows farm is located in Junction City, a few miles north of Eugene. I might one day go check out her farm and those darling alpacas.
Please note that the photo below shows crappy color to the yarns. The true shade of the colorways is in the photo as seen in the ‘all-items in the cookie tin’ photo above.
Kristi’s Bee Sheahand-made natural shea butter cream in Love Spell. The smell is wonderful but not overly powerful. This cream is great for those hardworking knitting hands and fingers. Kristi is from Tillamook, a coastal town in Oregon. Tillamook is known for its cheese.
Although the photo below looks crappy (blame the camera), I just want you to see how small the sleepy sheep is compared to a stitch marker. Real small and oh, soooooo cutesy.

I love the yarn you chose!
I am ecstatic to see the items you chose were well thought of and exquisite in taste! Good job!
