Wait, what is this? It doesn’t look round. What shape are you?
Yarn bought last year at a flock and fiber festival. Lace yarn is a 14-5 ounce blend of rayon, nylon, linen and acrylic. Normally, I would not even entertain the idea of using 100% acrylic. But rules can be bent a little sometimes.
Started knitting it last Friday. Pattern taken from Victorian Lace Today by Jane Sowerby, called The Cap Shawl (page 28). I’m half way finished with chart A (nine-pointed star). The finished piece may not come out as huge as what’s in the book. Hopefully not!
